Gressenhall & Dale Farm

After a damp start from Gressenhall Workhouse, Chris led nineteen King’s Lynn Ramblers through Hoe Rough initially following the river before deviating to Beetley through barley fields and onto Old Beetley Church for elevenses. Returning via Old Hall and more cross field paths of barley to Gressenhall Museum for lunch before visiting Dale Farm (organised by Chris) for a guided tour of the gardens.

Graham and Sally the owners of Dale Farm explained to the ramblers the history of the gardens and their own background, Graham with a Kew Diploma and Sally being trained in floristry.
