Late (Late) New Years Lunch

Lunch preceded by a 4 mile (approx) walk. You are welcome to join the walk even if not staying for lunch.

The meal is a carvery (vegetarian option available) and prices are the same as last year (£14 for two courses or £17 for three including tea/coffee and gratuity).  Anyone wanting a starter will be asked to choose it beforehand but it may be chosen on the day, before the start of the walk. This is to ensure that starters can be served promptly on our return from the walk.

COUNTRY PATE served with chutney and toasted bloomer

PRAWN COCKTAIL served with marie rose sauce and buttered brown bloomer (GF if no bread)

CRISPY POTATO SKINS filled with bubbling cheese and bacon…. or just bubbling cheese and served with salad garnish and ketchup or mayonnaise dip GF

HOMEMADE SOUP OF THE DAY served with sliced bloomer bread -(GF if no bread)

WHITEBAIT deep fried and served with buttered brown bread, tartare sauce and lemon wedges

CREAMED MUSHROOMS ON TOASThomemade creamed mushrooms cooked with white wine and cream and served on toasted bread(GF if no toast)

SCAMPI deep fried and served with buttered brown bread, tartare sauce and lemon wedges

GARLIC BREAD Homemade Flat Bread smothered in garlic butter and grilled with cheese or with cheese and crispy bacon

BREADED MUSHROOMS deep fried, served with a crispy salad garnish and GARLIC MAYONNAISE DIP
